Symonds, buffoon on the airways

The audio doesn’t seem to be available just yet. Pity, I’d love to hear it. Andrew Symonds calling McCullum a lump of shit, that is.

Symonds was interviewed by wacky old Roy and HG on radio last night. Apparently rather pissed – or “confused” as the papers are describing him. Fair enough on a Friday night, but honestly, drunk in charge of a radio microphone? Not smart.

So McCullum cops it (or maybe it was McCallan – the pronunciation was tripping him up). But Symo also let slip, out of his “confusion”, that he pervs at Mrs Hayden when he’s over at Matty’s place for a meal (who’s a sissy for having a coffee maker).

He doesn’t really mean it in that sense though, does he? He was just inarticulately saying that McCullum is going to be a target of public dislike because he’s the outsider, even though the real people at fault are NSW Cricket (in his opinion, anyway). Because later on in the rant he says it’s not McCullum’s fault, he’s just looking out for himself.

What can I say? I read drunken bogan really well.

Have you seen Hayden’s comments about NZ Cricket, and how they are being screwed over by the ICC/BCCI? Generous comments, from Haydos? What is he, the good guy now?

Good work on interpreting Symo’s rambling. It made no sense to me.

“They’re trying to use him as the out because he’s a Kiwi. Yep, we love to hate them, but he’s the lump of shit, sorry, lump of cow dirt, that people are thinking of.”

    Eh?

Actually, it’s pretty funny to have McCullum called names. He’s not a lump of cow dirt exactly, far from it, but really he could benefit from being brought down to earth a bit.

He is cocky and agressive, I agree, which is why I find all of this interesting because McCullum would actually fit in really well with us Australians.
