Awesuck
What a crazy game. Jayawardene scores an excellent 81, but Sri Lanka only make 136. Then after cruising half way through their innings, the Black Caps start flicking the awesome–suck switch in the middle of every over. Lucky for us, Nathan McCullum had his awesome turned on.

Crazy game indeed, but the result was nothing less than awesome for NZ, beating SL on that pitch took some doing – restricting them to 135 in spite of that beaut from Jayawardene. Batting looks quite patch though especially with LRPR and Baz struggling.
Assuming we beat Zimbabwe, our super 8 opponents will likely be South Africa, Pakistan and England. Good draw considering Australia and India look in great shape at the moment.
